"Ares, a top‑tier special‑forces war hero decorated with countless battle honours, hung up his uniform and retired after suffering severe psychological trauma triggered by the death of his closest battlefield comrade. Harassed and viciously bullied by local criminal enforcers pursuing repayment, their lives were plunged into utter ruin overnight. Determined to protect the martyr's family and defend the innocent, Ares steps forward and subdues the low‑level thugs with a show of force. Yet he soon realises these petty criminals are merely the tip of the iceberg. Behind them lies a sprawling criminal network spanning both legitimate and underworld spheres. Local gangsters run fraudulent schemes and predatory lending businesses, colluding with corrupt police officers, dishonest officials and even moles within the military. This corrupt alliance abuses power for profit and oppresses ordinary people for years. No longer satisfied with resolving just this family crisis, Ares resolutely embarks on a crusade to root out organised crime and official corruption. The criminal syndicate retaliates relentlessly, leveraging their powerful connections to suppress him, smearing his reputation through fabricated public opinion and repeatedly setting deadly traps and launching violent attacks in an attempt to force him into submission. Cornered yet unshaken in his resolve, Ares joins forces with his loyal former comrades‑in‑arms. Drawing on his elite combat skills and meticulous strategic thinking, he starts from small‑scale crimes at the grassroots level, digging deeper layer by layer, breaking through barrier after barrier. He dismantles the gang's forces one by one, strips away the disguise of the
